Duke takes back the number one ranking following a week in which they played just one game, a victory at home against Georgia Tech, 73-57. Louisville lost their number one ranking with a win against Connecticut, 73-58 and a loss to then-6th ranked Syracuse, 70-68. Wichita State enters the Top 25 at #20 with a win at home over Illinois State, 74-62 and an upset win at home over then-12th ranked Creighton, 67-64. Cincinnati comes in at #21 with wins against then-25th ranked Marquette, 71-69 and DePaul, 75-70. Ole Miss shows up at #23 with wins against Arkansas, 76-64 and Vanderbilt, 89-79. Miami (FL) also enters the Top 25 at #25. Illinois falls out of the rankings this week with an upset loss at home to Northwestern, 68-54. UCLA and Marquette also drop out this week.
